Power knocked out in Manchester after car hits utility pole


MANCHESTER — Traffic was backed up on Mammoth Road near Bridge Street on Wednesday night after a car hit a utility pole, police said.

The accident knocked out power to the area, Sgt. Tim Patterson said. He said there were minor injuries in the crash, which was still being investigated late Wednesday night.

According to a PSNH spokesman, power had been restored to all but several hundred customers by 10:30 p.m.
