Household of Faith has new service

AMHERST — Household of Faith of 30 Merrimack Road, is launching a new Saturday service at 6 p.m.

The service is in addition to regular Sunday services at 9 and 11 a.m.

Lead pastor Nicholas Manha said, “Sundays are increasingly becoming busy for many people. Between sporting events for the kids and employment requirements, Sundays are no longer a day for just relaxation, church and family. Beyond our need for space as a rapidly growing congregation, our intention is to offer an alternative worship venue for those presently struggling to attend Sunday services due to work and sporting schedules.”

Household of Faith is also launching a new ministry for young adults called “Generate.”

The ministry meets following the Saturday evening service to offer young adults an opportunity to interact with peers.
