Manchester police look for man who robbed West Side store


MANCHESTER — Police are looking for a man who robbed the Crosstown Variety store on Amory Street Friday morning.

According to a police press release, a store clerk said a man entered the store at about 11:10 a.m., pulled a gun from his waistband and demanded money. He then fled the store, heading east towards the intersection of Montgomery and Amory streets.

Police describe the robber as a white male, about 6 feet to 6’3”, with a thin build. He was wearing a gray, black and white camouflage long-sleeve shirt, a dark hat, mask and gloves.
