Fishers Cats tipped by Virginia in Eastern League action, 1-0

Skyler Stromsmoe tripled and scored on Matt Duffy's sacrifice fly in the first inning, and three Richmond pitchers permitted five hits in the Flying Squirrels' 1-0 victory on Saturday night in Virginia.

Kelvin Marte (5-2) earned the win, going 7 1/3 innings and allowing four hits. Jose Casilia and Cody Hall (fourth save) finished up.

Starter Radhames Liz (0-1) pitched five innings and took the loss for New Hampshire, which finishes its series in Richmond today at 1:35 p.m.
