Hooksett Orthopedic Center prevails in softball

The Hooksett Orthopedic Center 10U softball team defeated Hooksett Kiwanis 13-9 in recent play. Strong defensive play by Tanner Jennings, Olivia Welch and Brittany Firmes kept Team Kiwanis hitters off the bases. Orthopedic Center pitchers Audrey Lidster and Brittany Firmes combined for seven strikeouts in the contest. Team Kiwanis scored four runs in the fifth inning, sparked by hits by Rebecca Montminy, Saige Eckels and Kelly Decicco.

Goffstown Firefighters 16, Hooksett Orthopedic Center 8: Abby Heath and Brittany Firmes had hits for Hooksett.Hooksett NH Orthopedic Center 16, Goffstown Caleb Ridge Farm 9: Good defensive play by Alexis Jennings sparked Hooksett, and pitcher Audrey Lidster closed out the final inning, allowing no runs. Crossing the plate for Hooksett were Tanner Jennings, Ally Gowern and Taegan Jennings.
