LYNDEBOROUGH — On June 23, police were called to a Lavina Lane home to respond to a disturbance.
Responding officers — Lyndeborough Sgt. Rick Sprankle and Wilton police Officer Mike Able — investigated and arrested Curt Simpson, 63, of Lavina Lane.Simpson was charged with obstructing the reporting of a crime or injury, simple assault, domestic related. He was taken to the 9th District Court in Milford and arraigned then released on personal recognizance bail of $10,000 with a court date of July 15.
Lyndeborough police are also warning residents to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight. They are investigating thefts from two vehicles on Center Road. Items stolen were GPS devices and hearing aids.
Five ladders were recently stolen from a construction site on the corner of Center and Mountain Road.
