Suspicious death investigated in Rumney
RUMNEY -- State police are investigating the suspicious death of a man whose body was found about 6 p.m. Sunday at Stinson Lake.
Individuals involved in the incident that led to the man's death have been identified, although no one is under arrest, according to a news release issued about 2:45 a.m. Monday by New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, state police Col. Robert L. Quinn and Rumney Police Chief William Main.
There is no danger to the public at large, they said.
Investigators are withholding the man's name pending notification of his family and until an autopsy is completed by the Office of the New Hampshire Medical Examiner. No other information is available.
