Concord wants New Hampshire building
State to sell building to Concord
The Executive Council is expected to approve the sale today when it meets at 10 a.m. in the State House.
The city intends to enter a public/partnership to develop the site at 32-34 South Main St.
In a letter to executive councilors, DES Commissioner George Copadis notes the city will be responsible for demolishing the building.
The council originally approved the sale of the building in October 2012 along with other DES properties on West Street in Concord and two buildings on Hanover Street in Manchester.
