Hutchison fans 10 in Jays’ win

TORONTO — Former New Hampshire Fisher Cat Drew Hutchison struck out a career-best 10 and Jose Bautista and Colby Rasmus hit home runs as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 4-1 on Tuesday.

The Blue Jays, who wore red uniform tops in honor of Canada Day, snapped a three-game losing streak and gave the Brewers their second straight loss before a crowd of 45,088.

Hutchison (6-6) held the Brewers to three hits, two walks and one run in seven innings. The right-hander previously had nine strikeouts in a game three times in his career.

Casey Janssen pitched the ninth for his 13th save of the season.
