SOMERSWORTH - Police are searching for whomever attacked a pizza delivery man at a vacant apartment Wednesday night, according to a release.

Police said they found a 29-year-old man sitting in his car outside 51 Green St. shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday "with obvious head injuries and other injuries to his hand, face and leg," the release said. He was taken to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover for treatment.

The man was delivering food to the apartment when he was attacked from the rear and knocked to the ground and his food stolen, the release said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 692-3131 or 692-9111.
