Concord postpones fireworks to Saturday

Concord officials today postponed the annual July Fourth fireworks to Saturday night because of the weather.

The fireworks show still will be held at Memorial Field and will go off at 9:15 p.m. or dusk.

The site opens at 5:30 p.m. The Never's Bank Concert performs at 7:30 p.m.

The baseball game was cancelled because of a scheduling conflict.
