Body found in Concord rail track identified as homeless man
CONCORD — Police have identified the man whose body was found by the railroad tracks Saturday morning as Shaune Milligan, 49, who was homeless.
Lt. Timothy O'Malley said police were called to the tracks, east of 80 Storrs St., at about 11:45 a.m. Saturday for a person struck and killed by a train.
O'Malley said initial observations indicated Milligan may have died at some point Friday evening. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is continuing and O'Malley asks that anyone with information that might be of assistance to call police at 225-8600 or Concord Regional Crimeline at 226-3100.
