Man arrested in two Portsmouth robberies

PORTSMOUTH - An Exeter man was arrested Tuesday on charges he committed two armed robberies at knifepoint.

Police said William F. Flibotte, 21, robbed the Cabot Street Market on June 24 and Hanscom's Truck Stop on June 30.

In each case, Flibotte is accused of pulling out a knife. In the Hanscom's robbery, he allegedly went behind the counter before emptying the register and running away.

Flibotte is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Portsmouth District Court.
