Dover man among two sought in connection with Maine murder

BIDDEFORD, Maine - Police in Maine are searching for a New Hampshire man in connection with a double murder over the weekend, Maine state police said.

Christopher Dube, 28, of Dover, N.H., may have been in Biddeford along with Lance Palmer, 44, of Auburn, when Sunday's murders happened.

According to a report in the Bangor Daily News, Russell Lavoie, 42, of Old Orchard Beach and Jeffrey Lude, 37, of Biddeford, apparently died of multiple gunshot wounds in Sunday's incident.

Police said Dube is wanted for an unrelated probation violation and that Palmer should be "considered armed and dangerous."

Anyone with information is asked to call Maine state police at (207)657-3030.
