DERRY — Two residents are facing felony charges after police say they burglarized a home on English Range Road Thursday.
Michael Perry, 52, of 2 South Ave. was charged with burglary, a class B felony, and driving after suspension, Derry police Capt. Vern Thomas said in a news release. Also arrested was Katrina Warren, 25, of 104 West Broadway, who is charged with burglary, a class B felony.
At 11:57 a.m., Derry police received a report of a possible burglary, Thomas said. The caller said the woman pried open a door to the residence and they both entered, according to police. The two were then allegedly seen removing air conditioners and other items from the home and loading them into the truck, Thomas said.
Responding officers located the 1999 GMC pickup as it was backing out of the driveway, Thomas said. They detained the driver and a woman who was walking out of the driveway. The truck contained air conditioners and other items in plain view of the officers, according to police
Perry is being held on $8,000 cash bail. He is also being held on a warrant for “bad checks” from the New London Police Department, Thomas said.
Warren is being held on $5,000 cash bail.
