MANCHESTER — A Hillsborough County Superior Court North jury on Thursday convicted former downtown restaurant owner Neville Pereira of sexual assault, indecent exposure and lewdness, involving a former employee.

No date was set for sentencing.

Pereira, who was arrested in August 2013 on the charges, formerly co-owned N’awlins, formerly Rouge, at 860 Elm St.

The charges were originally brought in Circuit Court-Manchester District Division.

Defendants who want a jury trial can have the case transferred to Superior Court.
