The U.S. Marshals Service District of New Hampshire/Joint Fugitive Task Force has named Jose Alberto Miranda as New Hampshire’s fugitive of the week.

Miranda, 25, is wanted by state and federal authorities for parole and supervised-release violations on original charges of distribution of cocaine and reckless conduct with a firearm. Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous. Miranda is described as 5-feet-6, 136 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has a scar near his right eye and “Alexander” tattooed on his left forearm. He was last known to be living in the Manchester area, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

The U.S. Marshals Service advises the public not to attempt to apprehend a fugitive, who should be considered armed and dangerous. Instead, report any information to the U.S. Marshals Service’s Concord office at 225-1632 or call 1-877-WANTED-2 or text “NHTIP” with any information to TIP411.
