Jailed man faces new charge for allegedly contacting witness

CARLOS ALBARRAN

NASHUA -- A man is under arrest, accused of witness tampering in a domestic violence case.

Police said a woman obtained a domestic violence protection order - a restraining order - against Carlos Albarran, 20. On July 12, however, she called police to report he had called her from the Valley Street jail in Manchester.

As a result, on July 25 Albarran, who has no fixed address, was arrested on the class B felony witness tampering charge.

He refused bail, pending arraignment set for Monday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
