New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will campaign with Republican gubernatorial hopeful Walt Havenstein on Thursday at BAE Systems in Nashua.
Havenstein, of Alton, is a former CEO of BAE Systems.
His campaign announced that Christie, the chairman of the Republican Governors Association, would join Havenstein for a tour of the manufacturing facility. The two are then due to address employees during a forum.
Christie is later scheduled to headline a Republican State Committee fundraiser, “Home Run to Victory in 2014,” at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester ahead of a New Hampshire Fisher Cats game. The fundraiser ticket of $45 includes a general reception, the game, fireworks and buffet.
There are various sponsorship levels which feature photo opportunities with Christie. The host committee VIP Package, with access to the luxury suite with Christie, is $2,500.
Christie has campaigned in the state before for Havenstein, who faces Andrew Hemingway in a GOP primary. Daniel Greene of Pittsfield and Jonathan Smolin of Alton are also on the Sept. 9 primary ballot.
