The New Hampshire Fisher Cats let one get away on Tuesday night.
Leading 3-1 in the eighth inning and 3-2 entering the ninth, the Fisher Cats fell to the Binghamton Mets 4-3 before 2,815 fans at NYSEG Stadium.
In the ninth, three singles and walk, then a game-winning sacrifice fly to right field by Dilson Herrera off Gregory Infante (0-1) sent the local home happy. Before the ninth, the Mets were basically held in check by the trio of Daniel Norris (four innings, one run), Austin Bibens-Dirkx (two innings, no runs) and Tyler Ybarra (two innings, one run).
Cory Aldridge homered for the Fisher Cats, who were outhit 9-6. Jon Berti had two hits and scored two runs for the Fishers.
The teams play the rubber game of the series tonight at 6:35.
