MANCHESTER — Police are looking for a person who shot a man in the leg on Lowell Street on Thursday.

Police went to Lowell Street in the area between Haines Court and Jane Street at 2:20 p.m. Thursday for a report of a shooting. Radio communications indicated that police responded to the area of 287 Lowell St.

One victim, a male, was shot in the leg and was taken to Elliot Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening.
