ROCHESTER — Police hope a $500 reward will produce information to help track down the man who used a knife to commit four robberies at three gas stations in the past month.

As part of an ongoing investigation, police believe the same man robbed the Shell Station on Milton Road July 6, the Irving Circle K on Gonic Road July 20 and the Cumberland Farms on Highland Street on July 27 and Aug. 3.

While no one was injured during any of the robberies, the man took an undisclosed amount of cash from each store before fleeing on foot. Despite the fact police had access to video surveillance and K-9 teams responded following each incident, police were unable to identify the man.

As a result, Rochester Crimeline is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man involved in the robberies, according to police.

The man is described as being white, 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-9 and has a thin build. During three robberies, he wore a blue Adidas hooded sweatshirt and had a red bandana covering his face during the first two robberies. He wore a black Under Armor hooded sweatshirt and a dark bandana during the July 27 robbery.

He also wore blue or dark-colored jeans, black sneakers, and leather gloves on both hands while carrying a fixed blade knife in his right hand, according to police.

Anyone with information about any of the robberies is encouraged to leave anonymous tips by calling the Rochester Crimeline at (603) 335-6500 or by texting Crimes (274637) while writing TEXT4CASH followed by your tip. Calls and texts received on the Rochester Crimeline will remain confidential and rewards are given for information which leads to arrests.
