Allenstown needs residents to serve on town boards

The Town of Allenstown has nine vacancies on various boards and committees, and residents interested in providing a volunteer civic service to their community are encouraged to apply.

The Planning Board has one open seat and two alternate openings, the Zoning Board of Adjustment has a pair of vacancies and the Tri-Town Joint Ambulance Board needs one volunteer. There are also three openings on the Conservation Commission.

Prospective applicants are directed to submit a letter of intent to the Board of Selectmen and be willing to submit to a criminal records check. Those with questions as to what is required of appointees to these positions should contact Town Administrator Shaun Mulholland at 485-4276, ext. 112, or via email at smulholland@allenstownnh.gov.
