Bedford man faces charges of reckless driving in Merrimack

MERRIMACK — A Bedford man is under arrest after an officer said he saw him lose control of his car Sunday and veer off Pearson Road while rounding a curve at a high speed, police said.

Korey A. Hamm, 25, of 25 Liberty Hill Road, driving a 1986 Toyota MR2, took corrective action and drove back onto Pearson Road, police said.

Officer Brandon Gagnon, who police said witnessed the incident, reported the car at 12:25 p.m. Sunday was travveling at a high rate of speed at Pearson and Lyons roads when it went off the road.

Gagnon arrested Hamm for reckless driving.

Hamm was released on $500 personal recognizance bail pending a Sept. 2 arraignment in 9th Circuit Court, Merrimack District Division.
