Two men arrested following early morning melee in Nashua

NASHUA -- Two people were arrested during the weekend after a gun was fired early Saturday morning in the area of School and Walnut streets.

Several people were detained by police after a single gunshot allegedly was fired into the ground by George Palmer, 24, of 2 Clocktower Place, Unit 431.

Palmer was arrested and charged with felony counts of criminal threatening and reckless conduct.

A second person, Jeremiah Reichl, 22, of 334 Pine Hill Road, Hollis, was arrested and charged with a felony count of criminal threatening.

Police allege that both men had pointed their firearms at several individuals, although only Palmer allegedly discharged his weapon.

Palmer was being held on $20,000 cash bail, and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at the 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division. Reichl was released on $10,000 cash or surety bail.
