Rain forces Fisher Cats to play doubleheader Thursday

Heavy rain forced the Fisher Cats to postpone their game Wednesday against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Beginning Thursday at 6:05 p.m., the teams will play a doubleheader at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.

Tickets for today’s game are good for both seven-inning contests. The Fisher Cats announced that tickets for Wednesday’s game can be exchanged for any of the remaining home regular season games this season, based upon availability.

P. J. Walters (1-0, 2.70) and Michael Lee (1-0, 0.00) are the expected starters for New Hampshire today. Richmond is expected to start Chris Stratton (0-1, 4.50) in game one and Jack Snodgrass (9-5, 3.48) in the nightcap.
