Former Bedford Taekwondo studio employee charged with offenses involving children

BEDFORD — A former employee of Master An’s Taekwondo, 270 South River Road, has been charged with misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, sexual assault and a felony related to computer use.

Daniel Resto-Ortiz, 34, of Lowell, Mass., was arrested by members of the Massachusetts State Police and the Lowell Police Department and was ordered held pending arraignment in Circuit Court-Goffstown District Division.

Bedford police began the investigation July 24, after receiving information about Resto-Ortiz.

The Bedford Police Department and members of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at Master An’s Taekwondo Tuesday and seized alleged evidence.

Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact Bedford Detective Lt. Michael K. Griswold at 472-5113.
