Father, son sought in Manchester robbery
Manchester police responded to 287 Lowell St. to investigate a report of an assault at about 10 a.m. Thursday. According to police, a male victim reported he was assaulted in his home by a known assailant, suffering a non-life threatening laceration to his head.
According to Manchester police Lt. Todd Boucher, the older Stanin was arrested in March 2012 in connection with two armed robberies in the city. At the time, police said he pointed a gun at a 7-Eleven clerk and told her to give him money. She gave him $120, and he then grabbed her by the neck and assaulted her. Police said an hour later he struck a clerk in the face with a gun at the Shell station on Hanover Street, causing minor injuries. He was also charged in connection with a March 15, 2012, robbery on Frederick Street.
Manchester police say both men have active arrests warrants and should be considered armed and dangerous. Stanin is wanted for first-degree assault, armed robbery and being a felon in possession of a weapon. Stanin Jr. is wanted for second-degree assault and armed robbery.
