Peter Poole of Sugar Hill and Alice Baldwin of Whitefield, friends since childhood, attended the Chamber Players Concert on Saturday at the Meeting House in Sugar Hill. A grandson of Ernest Poole, winner of the first Pulitzer Prize for a novel, in 1918, Poole spent summers in Sugar Hill from Connecticut. Baldwin and her cousins came from Baltimore and Massachusetts to spend the summers with their grandparents. (MICKEY DERHAM)
