NASHUA — A Connecticut woman has been arrested for alleged prostitution, and her local mother is accused of helping to facilitate the exchange.
Nashua police have charged Arieana Manzi, of 34 9th St., Norwich, Conn., with prostitution and possession of a narcotic drug.
Authorities allege that Manzi was engaging in prostitution with Christopher Baldwin, of 386 Dunstable Road, Tyngsboro, Mass., who has also been charged with prostitution in connection with the case. Manzi’s mother, Amy Manzi, of 33 Dexter St., allegedly had “full knowledge of her daughter’s activities and helped facilitate them by providing her address and cell phone in order to facilitate the prostitution between Arieana Manzi and Baldwin,” police said in a release.
Local police began investigating the allegations after receiving complaints from residents about suspicious activity at the elder Manzi’s residence. She has been charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another to prostitution, in addition to two electronic bench warrants for failing to appear in court, and an outstanding warrant charging her with theft by deception.
