Alleged accomplice of Dover-area burglaries indicted

DOVER — A local man is facing several charges for allegedly being involved in four burglaries in December.

Joseph Collins, 40, whose last known address is at 3B Broadway St., was charged with four counts of burglary for allegedly being an accomplice of Linda and/or Michael Coughlin.

Collins allegedly assisted in burglaries at several area homes, including along Silver Street in Rollinsford Dec. 12, Parker Mountain Road in Barrington Dec. 20, Newtown Plains Road in Lee Dec. 28 and Stagecoach Road in Barrington Dec. 29, according to the indictments which a grand jury handed up Aug. 14.

 

 

Collins is scheduled to appear for an arraignment in Superior Court Aug. 28 at 9 a.m.Each count of burglary is a Class B felony which could result in up to 3½ to 7 years in prison and $4,000 fine, if convicted.
