BOW — A 73-year-old man died Tuesday after drowning in his swimming pool, police Sgt. Art Merrigan said.

Peter Jenovese was found by his wife in his swimming pool at 27 Evergreen Drive about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday and was taken to Concord Hospital, Merrigan said. Paramedics were able to restore his pulse, but had to continue helping him breathe, fire Capt. Mitchell Harrington said.

He was pronounced dead shortly later at the hospital, Merrigan said.
