Manchester police to hold ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event

August 20. 2014 10:56PM

MANCHESTER — The Manchester Police Department is inviting the public to meet and talk with the department’s community policing officers Thursday morning, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the McDonald’s at 196 S. Willow St.

The department is calling the session “Coffee with a Cop” and it could be the first of several such events at various locations around the city.

Police spokesman Sgt. Brian O’Keefe said the coffee is provided by McDonald’s and the community policing officers will be ready to talk with the public. It’s an opportunity to meet the officers in an informal setting to ask questions and, perhaps, talk about concerns the public may have.
