Pinkerton superintendent tours school in hors- drawn carriage

DERRY — As Pinkerton Academy prepares to celebrate its 200th anniversary, Superintendent of Schools Laura Nelson toured the high school Friday via a horse drawn carriage. Also with Nelson is Timothy Butterfield, second vice president of the Board of Trustees, at the reins; and Linda Butler, executive assistant to Headmaster Griffin Morse.

A 200th Anniversary Gala is scheduled to held at the high school on Saturday, Sept. 27.
