Police say woman broke into Hollis home and took pictures

HOLLIS — A Manchester woman was arrested Sunday on charges she broke into a Main Street property and took photographs while inside.

Police Lt. Richard Mello said in a release that Karen H. Jerzyk, 33, was pulled over after a man reported seeing “three female subjects” leaving his property. An officer found the woman in a car.

Mello said Jerzyk was conducting photo shoots and focuses on buildings she believes are abandoned.

“This home was uninhibited but not abandoned,” Mello said. “I guess the photographs could be considered “artistic.’”

He said the investigation is “ongoing and additional arrests are likely.”

Jerzyk is scheduled to appear Oct. 15 in Nashua Circuit Court.
