Man failed to note conviction on gun permit

MERRIMACK — A local man who failed to list a domestic violence conviction on his June 10 application for a concealed carry gun permit has been charged with unsworn falsification.

Police said Dana M. Fritsch, 37, of 149 Middlesex Road, failed to list the September 2003 domestic violence conviction, which is a crime. After an investigation, police obtained a warrant for Fritsch on the misdemeanor unsworn falsification charge.

Fritsch surrendered to police. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment Sept. 16 in 9th-Circuit Court-District Division-Merrimack.
