Victim identified in fatal Pelham motorcycle accident

PELHAM — A Pelham man was killed Tuesday night when his motorcycle collided with a 2013 Honda hatchback driven by a Salem woman at the intersection of Mammoth and Tenney roads.

The accident remains under investigation by Pelham and state police.

State police identified the motorcycle operator as 24-year-old Nicholas Limberopoulos.

Pelham police and fire personnel responded to the crash shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Emergency personnel gave medical aid to Limberopoulos, who was riding a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle. At the scene, he was unconscious and not breathing, according to police officials. He was transported to Lowell General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Honda, identified by state police as 22-year-old Kayla Walsh, reportedly suffered minor injuries and was taken to Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center in Nashua, where she was later released, according to police. A passenger in Walsh’s car did not suffer any injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

According to Pelham police, Limberopoulos was traveling north on Mammoth Road and the Honda was pulling off Tenney Road onto Mammoth Road when it collided with the motorcycle, causing Limberopoulos to be thrown from his motorcycle.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Pelham police at 635-2411.
