State police are trying to identify the dog owner shown in this photo. The man's pit bull, also pictured, attacked another hiker's dog near Tuckerman Ravine on Mount Washington Aug. 21. The other dog died three days later. 

Pit bull owner sought in fatal attack on another dog near Tuckerman Ravine


TWIN MOUNTAIN - Troop F is seeking to identify of the owner of a pit bull that attacked another dog, inflicting fatal wounds near Tuckerman Ravine on Aug. 21.

Trooper First Class Jonathan Stephens said the pit bull was on a hike with its owner when it attacked the other dog, which died of its injuries three days later.

Stephens asked anyone with information that could help identify the owner or the pitbull to contact him at (603) 223-8873.
