I-93 driver clocked at 120 mph, charged with transporting drugs


LONDONDERRY — A Salem man is charged with driving a Mercedes at 120 mph on Interstate 93 Monday.

Police said the 19-year-old was also transporting drugs.

New Hampshire State Police Trooper Aaron Richards stopped the northbound 1999 Mercedes CLK vehicle about 3:52 p.m. after he clocked it traveling about 120 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Samuel Larsen of Salem is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on Oct. 10 on reckless operation and transportation of drug charges.
