Manchester police search for man who robbed West Side TD Bank branch


MANCHESTER -- Police are looking for a man who robbed TD Bank on the city's West Side late Tuesday morning.

The bank robbery at 293 South Main St. happened at 11:25 a.m. and the robber reportedly fled on foot.

According to police, the teller said the robber came to the counter and handed her a note demanding money. He did not display or mention a weapon, and was able to flee the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as a white male with short, gray hair, wearing glasses, a baseball hat, a striped, collared shirt, khaki shorts and black boots.

Police ask anyone with information to call them at 668-8711 or Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040.
