The U.S. Marshals Service District of New Hampshire/Joint Fugitive Task Force has named Jonathan Edward Benedict as New Hampshire’s fugitive of the week.
Benedict, 28, is wanted on warrants from Merrimack County for probation violations on an original charge of burglary. His arrest record includes theft includes charges of theft, resisting arrest and escape.
Benedict is described as 5-feet-9, 180 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his back, both arms and hands, his left leg and his abdomen. He was last known to be living in the Concord area, and has friends and relatives throughout Merrimack County.
The U.S. Marshals Service advises the public not to attempt to apprehend a fugitive, who should be considered armed and dangerous. Instead, report any information to the U.S. Marshals Service’s Concord office at 225-1632 or call 1-877-WANTED-2 or text “NHTIP” with any information to TIP411.
