Police say missing 14-year-old Claremont girl found safe

UPDATED, 5:48 p.m., Nov. 1: CLAREMONT - A 14-year-old Claremont girl who was reported missing after trick-or-treating Friday night returned home safely Saturday afternoon, police said.

Police said Savannah Schofield, 14, had not returned from trick-or-treating with her friends.

Police said there was nothing suspicious about her disappearance and she has returned home.

CLAREMONT - A 14-year-old Claremont girl is missing after trick-or-treating Friday night, police are asking for the public's help locating her.

Friday night police received a report that Savannah Schofield, 14, had not return from trick-or-treating with her friends. Savannah had told her parents that she would be out with certain friends Friday night and this has been confirmed to be not accurate, police said Saturday morning.

Claremont police is seeking the assistance of the public in any details that will help locate Savannah.

Savannah is a white female, 5'1" tall, and 125 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

She has short hair that is normally in a ponytail. She is fair skinned and wears glasses.

"She may have been wearing a black dress and with white face paint on Halloween," police said.
