Teen charged with hitting family member with stick

NASHUA — An 18-year-old is under arrest, accused of hitting a family member on the head with a large walking stick.
Joseph Gorman, of 103 Spit Brook Road, Apt. B6, was arrested Saturday morning after police were called concerning an alleged assault on a male family member.
Police said the family member, whose named was not released, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
Gorman is charged with second-degree assault, a Class B felony.
He was detained on $8,000 cash/surety bail pending arraignment in 9th Circuit Court - Nashua District Division.
