Man charged in knife threat against former girlfriend

NASHUA — A city man is accused of threatening a former girlfriend and a man he does not know with a knife.

Jose Rivera, 30, of 43 Lowell St., Apt. C, was arrested Monday morning after police were called to Dunkin’ Donuts, 115 East Hollis St., to take a report concerning domestic violence.

Officers determined Rivera had threatened both a woman, with whom he had had a relationship, and a man, whom he did not know, with a knife. Rivera was located a short time later and arrested.He is charged with domestic violence, criminal threatening, being a convicted felony with a weapon, and criminal mischief.Rivera was held on $10,000 cash/surety bail, pending arraignment in 9th Circuit Court - Nashua District Division.
