Fries honored by Concord chamber

CONCORD — Cleveland, Waters and Bass, P.A., congratulates David Fries on being named Business Leader of the Year by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.

“David is a great lawyer, a terrific colleague and a good friend,” said the firm’s president, Philip M. Hastings. “The Pinnacle Award is a fitting tribute to Dave’s career-long commitment to guiding businesses of all sizes throughout New Hampshire.”

Award recipients were honored at the 10th Annual Pinnacle Awards Luncheon on May 28.

Severance honored by health association

WHITEFIELD Roxie Severance, administrator of Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, is a 2015 recipient of the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award from the American College of Health Care Administrators. The award was presented during an awards celebration luncheon at ACHCA’s 49th Annual Convocation and Exposition in San Antonio, Texas, on April 14.

CMA adds 3 engineers

CMA Engineers, a civil and environmental consulting engineering firm with offices in Portsmouth, Manchester and Portland, Maine, recently added three new engineers to support the firm’s New England practice in structural, highway, water and wastewater and solid waste management engineering. Whitney Chamberlain will be a project environmental engineer in the Portsmouth office. Benjamin Pomeroy is a project structural engineer in the Portland office.

Chamberlain and Pomeroy together led an Engineers Without Borders visit to Honduras several years ago to improve water quality and wastewater disposal in a rural village.John Maynard provides civil engineering design and construction site engineering services out of CMA Engineers’ Manchester office.

Von Aulock joins planning commission

Sylvia von Aulock has joined the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission as deputy executive director.

Von Aulock has served as the town planner for Exeter since 1999. She will join the commission on June 22.

Grapevine designs Live Free, Start site

MANCHESTERGrapevine Marketing, a Manchester-based digital marketing agency, recently completed the design and development of the website and inbound marketing campaign for Live Free and Start.

The website, launched on April 23, provides tech entrepreneurs the ability to access information and resources they need to start, grow and succeed in New Hampshire.
