Police say man tried to use credit cards with different names

HUDSON -- A man who tried to make a purchase with credit cards bearing different names is being sought after he became unruly when confronted by a store clerk Thursday, according to police.

The man came into the 7-Eleven at 230 Central St. just before 2 p.m. When the clerk challenged him about the various names on credit cards he presented for payment, the man ran out of the store, police said.

He drove away in a white, SUV-style vehicle.
