Portsmouth police seek man accused in armed robbery

PORTSMOUTH - Police have issued an arrest warrant for Anthony D. Conway, who they accuse of an armed robbery at Heath's MobileMart on June 29.

Conway, 33, was named a suspect based on information received from Seacoast Crime Stoppers and assistance from residents of the Gosling Meadows neighborhood and Portsmouth Housing Authority staff, police said.Conway is described as a black male, 6'1”, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information regarding the investigation to call Det. Josh McCain at 610-7513, or to contact Seacoast Crime Stoppers by leaving an anonymous tip at 431-1199 or at can also be texted to CRIMES (274637) with the letters “TIPSCS.” Tips that lead to an arrest or indictment of an individual can receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
