College Hockey: Dartmouth at Brown, Yale

One point behind Princeton for home ice in the opening round of the ECAC tournament, the Dartmouth men’s hockey team needs to amass some points on the road this weekend.

In a pair of 7 p.m. starts, Dartmouth (9-13-3, 6-10-2 ECAC) will play Brown (4-19-2, 3-14-1) tonight in Providence, R.I., and Yale (10-10-5, 6-8-4) Saturday in New Haven, Conn. Last month at home, Dartmouth lost to Brown 4-3 in overtime and 7-0 to the Bulldogs.

With four games left, Dartmouth (tied with Colgate) with 14 points in the standings, can still catch sixth-place Clarkson (18 points), seventh-place Yale (16) and eighth-place Princeton (15). Teams ranked fifth through eighth get home ice in the first round of the postseason.
