LONDONDERRY - Police arrested a Plaistow man on Wednesday who was wanted for allegedly threatening and damaging another man's car in January.
Sean Ashford, 26, now faces criminal threatening and mischief charges. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail.
The charges stem from a Jan. 27 incident, where Ashford and another man got in a verbal argument starting in Derry.
The second man left and Ashford followed him until he stopped at the Burger King in Londonderry on North Broadway Street, according to Londonderry Police Det. Chris Olson.
At the fast food restaurant, Ashford threw a wrench through the passenger side window, shattering the glass, Olson said.
The wrench landed on the floor of the driver's side, he said.
The victim also told police that Ashford said he would be coming back with a firearm, Olson said.
The two do not know each other, the victim told police, but the fight appears to have been over money, Olson said.
Ashford will be arraigned at the Derry District Court on May 2.
