Five face drug charges in Nashua Granite Hammer arrests

NASHUA — Police arrested four city residents and a Hudson man Thursday on drug-related charges as part of the Granite Hammer program.
According to a release, the following people were arrested:
Karl Saunders, 34, of 42 Yarmouth Dive, charged with possession of oxycodone and falsifying physical evidence, a Class B felony. He was held on $7,500 cash bail.
George Degraan, 43, of 23 Temple St., Apt. 224, charged with one count of acts prohibited, felony possession of heroin. He was held on $2,500 cash or surety bail.
Scott Regan, 49, of 65 Mobile Drive, Hudson, charged with unlawful possession of a prescription drug — Gabapentin, a Class A misdemeanor. He was held on $5,000 personal recognizance bail.
Joyce Garcia, 45, of 7 Shedds Avenue, charged with possession of a controlled drug — Suboxone, a felony and unlawful possession of a prescription drug — Gabapentin, a Class A misdemeanor. Garcia was held on $5,000 cash or surety bail.
Jeffrey Perkins, 56, of 3 Pleasant St., 2nd floor, was charged with sale of a controlled drug — Suboxone, a felony. He was held on $25,000 cash or surety bail.
The arrests concluded an investigation funded by the Granite Hammer program into the sale of illegal drugs in the city.
